Rhode Island is famous for Coffee Milk and Coffee Cabinet.
Coffee Milk (kaw-fee milk) – A lot like chocolate milk but with coffee-flavored syrup. It is milk with sweet coffee syrup added .The drink is served either by the glass or the half-pint. Rhode Island is the only place in the world where you can get this drink.

In my country there is this drink very similiar. Colombian people enjoy this drink everyday, because in Colombia the milk and the coffee is popular.
Coffee Milk recipe is very easy. You only need two tablespoons coffe-flavored syrup and one cup cold milk.

I invite my classmates and teachers to enjoy this delicious drink and prepare it in their houses.

Buffalo-Style Chicken Wings

The actual recipe for the Anchor Bar's Buffalo Chicken Wings is kept a closely guarded secret by the family, but you will find that the following recipe tastes a lot like theirs.

Recipe

Blue Cheese Dressing (recipe follows)

24 (about 4 pounds) chicken wings

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

4 cups vegetable oil

4 teaspoons butter

2 to 5 tablespoons hot pepper sauce or to taste

1 tablespoon white vinegar

Celery sticks

Blue Cheese Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley leaves

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon fresh-squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Red (cayenne) pepper to taste

In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, onion, garlic, parsley, sour cream, lemon juice, vinegar, blue cheese, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

In my country, there is a same food. It is a delicious and my favorite.

On August 24, 1814 British set fire to many public buildings including the White House in Washington D.C.The White House was set ablaze causing extensive damage.The house was painted again with white color.The British assert that the attack was in retaliation for the American looting of York, upper Canada (Now Toronto) in 1813.Of the many spoils taken from the white house when it was ransacked by British troops, only two have been recovered:A painting of George Washington and some Jewelry.

My presentation was about Northeast region. I spoke about two places tourist attractions; the first was The Statue of Liberty, It is in New York’s State. Its sculptor was Fredic Auguste Bartholdi. This wonderful work of art was finished in the year 1886. The statue measures 152 feet tall without the Pedestal with the pedestal it reaches 306 feet high. The second was about the Chocolate’s company Hershey Park. It is in Pennsylvania’s State. All people that visiting this place they can learn how make chocolate and they can enjoy delicious kinds of breakfasts. Also they can take a exciting tours of Hershey’s chocolate factory.
I learned many things about different regions of the United States such as the Mount Rushmore it is in Southeast and it is a national park; The Mississippi rivers it is in Midwest region; Lake Tahoe it is in West region, between California and Nevada, The Alamo it is in Southwest in Texas San Antonio, the Grand Canyon it is in Arizona’s State one of first National Park.

I learned about North East region.

I investigated the North East region. The North East has a lot of history. One of them is Boston tea occurrence. And NewYork is a famous city. There are multinational corporations, public
institution buildings, and The state of liberty. I was learn in the North East. The region has 11 states. I learned 11 states before. I don't know about 11 state name and history.

THE UNITED STATES

I learned a lot of interesting things about the United States of America such as its climate, its regions, its two oceans; the Pacific and Attlantic.
I learned about its important cities, beautiful places, tourist attractions, and some history.

I have never visited other regions of the United States of America. I just know the state of California, but I am happy in this state, because I like its climate, its cities, and its landscapes.

In the future I would like to know more about the northeast region, and to visit New York, and Washington, D.C. Another region that I want to know about is the Midwest. Maybe I will go to this region in August, and I will also visite Chicago, and I will stay at a friend's house.

In these eight months that I have been here in the United States I have learned to appreciate this country, and its people.

The temperature in North East isn't stable because the ocean affects frequently the Climate in this region. Sometimes it is freezing cold and sometimes it is hot and humid. In winter in the months December and mid-March the temperature is very cold. The average is 40 degrees.

To the north is the Atlantic Ocean. To the west are Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware, and Maryland. To Northeast is Canada.

Some places for visiting in North East are: New York one of the world's most diverse and exciting cities! It is Manhattan with a great architecture. Other place very important in North East is Washington D.C this States is The capital of the USA. Many people visiting this States for looking the White House, the Senate, the Capitol, the Air and Space Museum.
Other cities very important are Boston, Philadelphia, Washington and New York. Whale Watching Cruise, Hershey's Chocolate World, Harvard and Yale Universities and so much more!
